Physical signs of depression that most people don't know

Feeling sad from time to time is a normal part of life, but being depressed is a very
different thing. It  can cause a variety of symptoms- both emotional and physical-
that persist and effect a person's day to day life.
  Depression  is a common illness. About 6.7 % of adult in the United States have
depression,  according to the National Institute of Mental Health. Worldwide , an
estimated 350 million people of various ages suffer from depression, according to
World Health Organisation. People  who have depression experience feeling of
sadness, hopelessness, loneliness, and/or a loss of interest in things they once
enjoyed. While  most of people are aware of these emotional symptoms, physical
symptoms related to depression or of one is not because they are not seen as a
connected. Here are some of the physical signs of depression you might not expect.

1.Weight loss or gain

Depression  affects the hormones that regulate appetite and can make you want to eat more or less than  you do.Also, sleep issues associated with depression can compound the problem, since sleep deprivation can mess with those same hunger and fullness hormones.
Thus depression can lead to either weight loss or weight gain.

2.Aches and pains

sometimes, muscle or joint pain can be due to depression. When  you hold your feeling inside, they eventually come out physically in the form of body pain. Whether  it's a headache or a back pain ,Suppressed emotions can manifest as physical pain.

3.Stomach issues

There is also a strong connection between digestive problems- bloating, constipation, irritable bowel and other- and depression. The  gut is particularly responsive to your mood states.Also, the Nerve cells in your gut manufacture 80 to 90% of your body is serotonin, a mood boosting neurotransmitter. On  top of that, depressed people tend to eat sugar loaded foods that stimulate inflammation of the brain and cause an imbalance of good and bad bacteria in the gut.

4.Trouble sleeping

Depression  may cause a wide range of Insomnia symptoms, including difficulty falling asleep, difficulty staying asleep and daytime sleepiness. Depression  often comes with a lack of energy and an overwhelming feeling of fatigue, which can be among the most debilitating symptoms of depression. Surprisingly , as tired as you may feel, depression can affect your sleep quality.The
lack of quality.The lack of quality, restful sleep can also lead to anxiety and make your condition worse.

5.Migraine

Much  like chronic pain, headaches and migraines are also linked to depression. wild depression can lead to headaches, It is a common symptom in people with migraine headaches. Migraine  can be the reason behind the development of mood disorders like depression, or vice versa. the list is even stronger in people who experience migraine with Aura. 6.Skin problems

Stress  hormones are damaging your skin. Depression  is associated with elevated levels of the stress hormone cortisol, so it is common to see skin problems in people suffering from depression. it can even worsen condition like Eczema, psoriasis and  acne. The link between depression and skin problems may be due to self negligence, which is a common side effect of depression.

7.Chest pain


Chest  pain is a well-known symptom of heart problems. What  many people don't know is that chest pain is linked with depression and vice versa. Depression  can affect heart rhythms, increase blood pressure and elevate insulin, cholesterol and stress hormone levels.

Sleep wake cycle

75%depression is caused by little sleeping.This is major cause of depression so
first thing is to control is your sleepliness.Sleep at least 7 hours.If you sleep 7 hours a
 night, your depression decreases rapidly.

Eating

The second thing is to control your food you eat.There is a direct link between
depression and your food.If you lessen your use of fried foods,you can control
your depression easily.You have to eat oil free food.You should eat fresh vegetables.

Thoughts

Your mind is a great organ given by God.If you believe in yourself,you can
do anything what you want.If you think positively you can control your depression.
Only thing you have to do is take all facts positively and don't be angry with those
things you want to see or anything else you do.

Behaviour

Your behaviour is a vital thing that make impression on other's mind but the
interesting thing is that it also affects you as well.So if you behaves politely
with other your mind will feel feel polite and comfort.In contrast if you behaves
ruthlessly with other,your mind will be restless as a reward.So mind you behaviour.

Exercise

If you want to give up your depression,you have to do exercise on daily bases.it is
an old saying,
"A MOVING SOUL IS A HEALTHY SOUL"
make a routine of exercise,in a period of one week you can see results that your
depression vanished.

       The person you talk to doesn't have to be able to fix you; they just need to be a
good listener- someone who will listen attentively and compassionately without being
distracted or judging you.
Make  face-time a priority

        Phone calls, social media, and texting are great ways to stay in touch, but
they don't replace good old fashioned in- person quality time. the simple act of talking
to someone face to face about how you feel can be play a big role in relieving depression
and keeping it away.
Trying  to keep up with social activities even if you don't feel like it
        Often when you are depressed,it feels more comfortable to retreat into your shell,  
being around other people will make you feel less depressed.

Find  ways to  support others

It's nice to receive  support, but researches show that  you get an even bigger mood
boost from providing support yourself.so  find ways- both big and small- to help others.

Care for a pet

While nothing can replace the human connection, pets can bring joy and companionship
into your life and help you feel less isolated. Caring  for a pet can also get you outside of
yourself and give you a sense of being needed - most powerful antidotes to depression.

Join a support group for depression

Being  with others dealing with depression can go a long way in reducing your sense of
isolation. you can also encourage each other, give and receive advice on how to cope, and
share your experiences.
